Soft skills for young entrepreneurs: Setting up your own business

uinno

UINNO is a two-year Erasmus+ project aiming to develop an adult training package to equip EU citizens with basic skills and knowledge on innovative aspects, who are potential entrepreneurs and start-up creators. It envisions to support the fulfillment of priorities of major EU policies, such as the Entrepreneurship 2020 Action Plan. According to this plan, in order to bring Europe back to growth and create new jobs, there’s need for more entrepreneurs. For this reason, UInno aims to ease the creation of new businesses and to create a much more supportive environment for entrepreneurs to thrive and grow.

During its rollout many activities took place. One of the most important is the release of the online module, using innovative training tools such as mini-games, real-life scenarios and covering topics like Design Thinking, Digital Innovation, and Digital Marketing that can help promote soft skills.

The last meeting and conference of the consortium took place in Nicosia, Cyprus on the 26 of September 2019.  During the meeting, the project’s partners made an overall evaluation of the outputs that have been produced during the lifetime of the project. Furthermore, during the conference, which was entitled “Soft skills for young entrepreneurs: Setting up your own business” each organization had the opportunity to introduce itself to the audience which attended the conference, as well as to discuss their experience within the project and present also the outputs of the project. Finally, throughout the conference, partners had the opportunity to implement also a workshop where they presented the training material and exchanged ideas.

Don’t forget! The UINNO’s training package is provided in a fully digital format based on eLearning pedagogies, work-based online learning, and collaboration.
