Between January 10th and 14th, iED participated in the Start-up EU Academy training in Turkey, which occurred in-person and online as well. The 5-day activity was an integrant part of the “Startup EU Academy” Erasmus+ project.
Shaping the Future for the Entrepreneurs of Europe
Start-up EU Academy aims to contribute to youth entrepreneurship and to European e-commerce. In particular, project design foresees the professional development of young people, along with the development of youth workers and organizations. In addition, Start-up EU Academy approaches entrepreneurship and e-commerce through the lens of innovation and sustainability.

The Start-up EU Academy Training
During these 5 days, the workshops were conducted, in an interactive and instructive manner, where the training participants explored the following subjects:
- The basics of e-commerce.
- The various aspects between e-commerce and traditional commerce.
- The development of a business idea.
- Competitor analysis.
- Brand name and logo design work.
- Finally, the training encompassed a discussion pertinent to e-commerce establishment issues.
Through the Start-up EU Academy training, the participants had the opportunity to get an introduction to concepts pertinent to the entrepreneurial ecosystem and e-commerce of their countries.
Since 2005, Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) explores the potential of entrepreneurship; and acknowledges the significance of youth entrepreneurship to the future entrepreneurial landscape.
