The SIRSE Transnational Project Meeting and LTTA

On the 26th of March, the SIRSE transnational project meeting concluded successfully, with the partners evaluating and discussing the project’s next steps. 

SIRSE is an Erasmus+ project, with the goal of developing policies conducive to life improvement and social re-integration of young immigrants, between the age of 25 to 30. For the materialization of SIRSE 8 organizations are collaborating from Turkey, Italy, and Greece. 

What Happened in the SIRSE Transnational Project Meeting 

In the SIRSE transnational project meeting, the partners had the opportunity to discuss the project’s course so far and to plan its completion.  

In particular, SIRSE partnership produced 2 intellectual outputs, the Educational Curriculum for Social Entrepreneurship for Refugees (IO1) and the Academic Report (IO2). Both outputs have been published in the Journal of Migration Research.  

Furthermore, the partners discussed details about the upcoming multiplier event in Sanliurfa, such as the date, holding the event as a conference, and so on. 

Meanwhile, within the project scope, the Learning Teaching and Training Activities (LTTA) materialized in İzmir, with the participation of 12 people that consisted of young people and youth workers. Specifically, in this training activity, participants gained knowledge on the basics of social entrepreneurship; the social entrepreneurship legal framework; the business model canvas; and, marketing. 

iED’s team is glad about the outcome of the SIRSE transnational meeting and looks forward to the next steps of the project.
