The Marie Sk?odowska Curie Individual Fellowship (MSCA IF)

The Marie Skłodowska Curie Individual Fellowship (MSCA IF) is a set of major mobility research grants. It was created in 1996 by the European Commission as an effort to support research in the ERA (European Research Area), at the time under the name of Marie Curie Actions. In 2014 the set was renamed to The Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions aiming at the career development and training of researchers all around the world and at all career stages.

Since 2014, the actions are being funded through the 8th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development, also known as Horizon 2020.  The actions are under the so-called first pillar: ’Excellent Science’’
