Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED), an award-winning Greek non-profit organization, certified Center of Excellence in European Entrepreneurship and a fast-growing Digital Innovation Hub, and Metropolitan College of Larisa, the largest College for University studies in Greece that, in collaboration with prestigious universities abroad, it offers the widest range of contemporary courses which are in high demand in the job market.
This is iED’s newest partnership to come into effect in a bid to support excellence, learning, and deeper involvement in the local community. It is expected that this collaboration will enhance iED’s capability to plan and host scientific, social, or cultural events, while it will also open up internship positions for the students of Metropolitan College of Larisa.
In the context of this cooperation, Metropolitan College will:
- Allow the participation of its professors in lifelong learning programmes organized by iED and will provide its facilities and laboratories for free
- organize training seminars for both organizations’ staff
- carry out student educational visits in the facilities of iED
- implement joint Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs based on the principles of sustainable development
- cooperate to prepare and implement research programs
