Preparation of the development of a Digital Literacy Module for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers

Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ project “LAND OF HOPE-Rebuilding lives in the land of hope”, the 3rd transnational meeting was held between the partners in the city of Larissa, Greece on 4 and 5 July 2017.

During the first day of the two-day meeting, each partner made a short presentation with the activities implemented so far within the project.

Lead partner from Turkey (Tuzla) in particularly, presented the first educational material that has already been developed, and is provided free of charge on our website entitle “Language and Communication Module for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers”.

At the same time, the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development made the first report on the second educational material that will be developed, as a next step of the project, and will also be available in our website soon entitle “Digital Literacy Module for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers”.

During the second day, all partners made a study visit to the Municipality of Larissa, where have been welcomed by Deputy Mayor Mr.Deligiannis, and have been informed about the actions and the hard work carried out by the Municipality to support the refugees and migrants who arrived in Larissa the last two years.

What have been observed is that all countries face almost the same problems, but that depends, of course, on the number of the people they have to deal with.
