The ASE Kick-off meeting

On the 4th to 7th of November 2019, the official start of the Alliance for Social Entrepreneurship was given with the kickoff meeting in Brussels. Prior to the anticipated event, a detailed plan for the arriving and staying at the hotel was provided to the participants.

The purpose of the meeting was for the partnering organisations from the participating countries to decide on the stages of the strategic plan, set the project milestones and agree on the actions every organisation should proceed with. The gathering was also meant to discuss and set up a framework for the research phase, talk about the target groups that will participate in the research and the ways they will be reached. The financial management and the overall budget for the project were mentioned in order for the whole plan to be successfully implemented on every stage of it.  At the end, all partnering organisations were asked to sign a common internal agreement with the applicant organisation EPN, related to their tasks and responsibilities, as well as the budget allocations that they will receive.

The programme’s schedule for the two days were distributed to the participants prior to their arrival. Every topic and agenda were presented accordingly, so that everyone could take part in the discussions and engage with the proposed actions.

At the end, a dinner was shared by the team members on the project. The overall atmosphere was friendly, festive, and pleasant. The result of the Kickoff meeting pointed out the inevitable success that the project will have on every stage of it and the commitment of all participating members to project’s objectives and their contribution to every step of development.
